The dating site’s Twitter account, @Meet White People, tweeted a couple responses to general questions Thursday.
A controversial new dating website, providing a perception that it is open to “whites only,” has posted a billboard in Salt Lake City, Utah, turning heads and sparking conversation among residents asking whether the website Where White People is racist or just another dating site following the path of others such as Black People or Farmers
KUTV reported on the billboard that stands tall on State Road 201 and decided to visit the dating site to see why there is a need for a whites-only dating site. ” Where White People Meet.com, at the time this article was written, has only 59 members. WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah -- A billboard advertising the online dating site “Where White People Meet” has been taken down.
Dave Goldberg with Compass Billboards said the contract with Where White People Meet expired and that’s why it was removed.
